Section 9: Adjusting the

ProBOOSTER to Fit Your Vehicle

Backrest Recline Adjustment

The purpose of the backrest recline adjustment is to help the

ProBOOSTER t at against your vehicle’s seating surfaces.

However, due to great variation in vehicle seating shape and design,

the ProBOOSTER is NOT suitable to use in all vehicle seats. Therefore,

you MUST read and understand all of the information in Section 6: of

this manual titled “Learning About Your Vehicle”, which covers the types

of vehicle seats that CANNOT be used with the ProBOOSTER.

There are two (2) backrest recline positions:

1. The seat backrest is in the

upright position when the

recline bar is adjusted DOWN

at against the child restraint

seat cushion.

2. The seat backrest is in the

recline position when the

recline bar is adjusted UP at

against the child restraint seat

back.

3. NEVER use the recline bar in

any position except fully down

or fully up.

NOTE: Though it may seem that the recline bar is not providing

recline, the purpose of the recline bar is to assure correct tment of

the child restraint to your vehicle seat.
