ATTN: Ford Superduty 99-04 Crew Cab Owners:

You will need to make a few simple modifications to the mounting area of your 99-04 Ford

Superduty truck only if you have a ”Crew Cab” body style. The modifications are simple and

straight forward…basically you must cut away some of the body behind the headlight where we

have clearly marked with black x’s on all the images located below:

Upon receipt of your RECON Projector Headlight Assemblies, please remove them from the box

& go through the images below prior to attempting installation then follow the steps below:

Mounting: RECON Projector Headlights replace factory O.E.M headlight assemblies & the high beam/low beam plugs will fit directly into the factory O.E.M headlight bulb plugs. Halo & LED Running Lights Wiring: The red or white wires for the Halos around the projectors and the white wires for the White LED running lights should be spliced into the positive wire of your factory O.E.M parking lights.
