What you will need:
BUY YARN
Seven small knit squares all fit into a handy
container and are ready to use for washing
your face. The 100% cotton is a nice texture
to stimulate and clean your complexion.
Face Squares measure 3½"
[9 cm] square.
Container measures 3½" [9 cm] wide x
2½" [6.5 cm] high x 1¾" [4.5 cm] deep.
FACE SQUARE (make 7 total;
1 in each of 7 colors)
Cast on 14 sts.
Knit every row until piece measures 3½"
[9 cm] from beginning.
Bind off.
Repeat to make 7 total in 7 different
colors.
CONTAINER
Sides (make 2)
Using desired color, cast on 13 sts.
Knit every row until piece measures 2½"
[6.5 cm] from beginning.
Bind off.
Sides and Bottom Gusset
In same color, cast on 6 sts.
Knit every row until piece measures 8¼"
[21 cm] from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Place markers along long sides of
Gusset, 2½" [6.5 cm] from each short
end. These markers will be pivot points
for lower corners.
Lining up one short end with top edge
of one Side piece, sew long edge of
Gusset along side edge of Side piece,
ending with marker at corner of Side
piece. Easing to fit piece around corner,
continue to sew long edge of Gusset
to bottom edge of Side piece, ending
with next marker at opposite corner of
Side piece. Sew remaining long edge
of Gusset along remaining side edge of
Side piece, ending with short ends of
Gusset aligned with top edge of Side
piece. Repeat to sew opposite long
edge of Gusset along 3 sides of second
Side piece.
Weave in ends.
