What you will need:
BUY YARN
Combine Scrubby Cotton yarn with
cushy bobble stitches for a mat that
you’ll love in your bathroom.
Crochet it with any of the peaceful
shades of this absorbent yarn.
Mat measures 28½" [72 cm] long x
20½" [52 cm] wide.
SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS
Bobble: [Yarn over, insert hook in
indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up
loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 5
times, yarn over, draw through all loops
on hook, ch 1.
BATH MAT
With B, ch 63.
Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from
hook and in each ch across – 62 sc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (does not count as a stitch
here and throughout), turn, Bobble in
first st, sc in next st, *Bobble in next st,
sc in next st; repeat from * across.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across –
62 sc.
Rows 4-5: Repeat Rows 2-3. Cut B.
Rows 6-11: Join A and repeat Rows 2-3.
Cut A.
Rows 12-15: Join C and repeat Rows 2-3.
Cut C.
Rows 16-21: Join A and repeat Rows 2-3.
Cut A and join B.
Repeat Row 2-21 for three more times.
Join B and repeat Rows 2-5.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
