ROS LED does
not turn on
Check for 12/24V at
pin 3 of connector
and ground at pin 8
ROS LED on
permanently
Replace faulty ROS
Isolation switch trips
when ROS is connected
repair wiring
and retest
Check switch control line
is connected to pin 5 of
ROS connector
Dashboard lamp
on permanently
Dashboard lamp does
not turn on for 1 second
when isolation switch
turned on.
ROS LED
blinking
Check for blown
bulb
Check for LED on for 1
second after isolation
switch on
replace bulb
and retest
Check for:
- short/open circuits on switch wiring
- short/open circuits on lamp wiring
- ROS correctly latched down
- ROS securely mounted on vehicle
- ROS mounted horizontally
- faulty battery (voltage < 9V)
Repair wiring, etc.
and retest
Isolation switch does not
trip during ROS self-test
