The option key is recorded on a sticker affixed to the terminal. A single key combines
all Ethernet and TDM options purchased for the AN-30e terminal. If an upgrade is
purchased after the system is installed, a new key combines all selected options.
Note: Each key is personalized to a specific terminal MAC address. Please ensure
that the correct MAC address is provided when purchasing an upgrade option from
your local representative.
5.7.1 Entering Option Keys
Enter the key (case sensitive) and check to see that it is correct. Click Activate to
enter the key. The key is case sensitive and must include hyphens.
Click System Log in the left-hand menu to view the log. If the key was accepted there
will be a message 109-Product Options Key activated. If the key was not accepted, try
re-entering the key (possible typing error).
5.7.2 TDM Options
The AN-30e unit is equipped from the factory with eight software-configurable TDM
ports. The Options Key activates and configures the active TDM ports.
Important: The option key must be entered before the TDM ports are connected to
any external equipment.
5.7.3 Ethernet Options
High-speed Ethernet options are provided to allow Ethernet data traffic and TDM
data to be transmitted concurrently over the wireless link. Review the following
section for additional information.
