ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The Backrest (8) can be used in a declined position,
a level position, or two inclined positions. To use the
Backrest in the declined position, remove the
Backrest Rod (14) and lay the Backrest on the
Crossbar (2).
To use the Backrest (8) in the level position or an
inclined position, set the Backrest Rod (14) in a set of
brackets on the Uprights (1, 4).

This section explains how to adjust the weight bench. See the EXERCISE GUIDELINES on page 12 for impor-
tant information about how to get the most benefit from your exercise program. Also, refer to the accompanying
exercise guide to see the correct form for several exercises.
Make sure all parts are properly tightened each time the weight bench is used. Replace any worn parts immediate-
ly. The weight bench can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent; do not use solvents.
ADJUSTING THE WEIGHT RESTS
To adjust the height of the Weight Rests (15), raise
the Weight Rests to the desired height and tighten an
Adjustment Knob (10) into each Upright (1, 4).

WARNING: When using the
Backrest (8) in a level or inclined position,
make sure that the pins on the Backrest Rod
(14) are fully inserted into the holes in the
brackets on the Uprights (1, 4).
WARNING: Set both Weight
Rests (15) at the same height. Make sure that
the Adjustment Knobs (10) are inserted into
both the Uprights (1, 4) and the Weight Rests.
ADJUSTMENT
ATTACHING WEIGHTS TO THE LEG LEVER
To use the Leg Lever (6), slide the desired weights
(not included) onto the Weight Tube (11) and secure
them with a Weight Clip (42).

than 50 lbs. (23 kg) on the W
eight Tube (11).
Always secure weights with the Weight Clip
(42).
