• Neveroperatethechargerimmediatelyafterithasbeentakenfromacoldroomtoawarmroom.Theresulting
condensation may lead to malfunctions or damage!
Allow the charger to reach room temperature before connecting and operating it. This may take several hours!
• Ifyouhavereasontoassumethatsafeoperationisnolongerpossible,disconnectthechargerimmediatelyand
secure it against inadvertent operation.
 Firstdeactivateallsidesofthemainssockettowhichthechargerisconnected(e.g.switchofftherespectivefuseor
turnoutthefuse.ThendeactivatetheFIprotectionswitch).Thenunplugtheplug-inchargerfromthemainssocket.
Do not use the charger after this anymore, but take it to a specialised workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally
compatible manner.
It can be assumed that operation without danger is no longer possible if the charger has any visible damage, the
chargernolongerworks,afterextendedstorageunderunsuitableconditionsorafterdifculttransportconditions.
c) Commissioning
• OperatethevehicleonlywithtwoLi-Ionrechargeablebatteriesoftype"18650"(ratedvoltage3.7Veach).
Never use any other rechargeable battery types or non-rechargeable batteries. Never use a mains unit to operate
the vehicle, not even for test purposes.
• Takethetransmitterinoperationrst,andthenthevehicle.Otherwise,thevehiclemayshowunpredictablere-
sponses!
• Placethevehicleonanappropriatesurfacebeforeswitchingiton,sothatthewheelscanturnfreely.Donotreach
intothedrive.Firstswitchonthetransmitterandthenthevehicle.Checkthatthevehiclereactstoremotecontrol
commands as expected (steering and drive) before taking it from the support and placing it on the ground with its
wheels.
d) Driving the Vehicle
• Improperoperationmaycauseseriousinjuryandpropertydamage!Onlydrivewiththemodeldirectlyinview.This
is why you shouldn’t drive at night.
• Onlydrivewhenyourabilitytoreactisunrestricted.Tirednessortheinuenceofalcoholormedicationcancause
incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Pleasenotethatthismodelvehiclemustnotbedrivenonpublicroads,placesorstreets.Alsodonotoperateiton
private grounds without the owner's permission.
• Neverdrivetowardsanimalsorpeople!
• Avoiddrivingatverylowoutdoortemperatures.Plasticpartsloseelasticity,whichmayleadtodamageevenina
light accident.
• Donotdriveinthecaseofathunderstorm,underhigh-voltagepowerlinesorintheproximityofradiomasts.
• Donotdriveinrain,throughwetgrass,water,mudorsnow.Thereceiver/controllerunitinthevehicleissplash-water
protected, but the model is not water-resistant or water-tight. The transmitter must not get damp or wet!
• Leavethetransmitteronwhilethevehicleisinoperation.
• Ifoperationofthevehicleistobeterminated,alwaysswitchoffthevehiclerstandtaketherechargeablebatteries
out of the vehicle. Now you may turn off the transmitter.
