g) Controlling the Vehicle
Usethewheel(gure1,item2)tocontrolthevehiclesteering.
Usetheslider"STEERINGREV."(gure1,item8)toreversethereactionofthevehicletothesteering
movements.Forthisvehicle,theslidermustbeinthe"N"positionsothattheturningmovementgoesinthe
same direction.
Ifthewheelisturnedtotheleft,thewheelsmustdeecttotheleft.Dependingonhowfarthewheelisturnedtothe
left,thewheelswilldeectmoreorless.
Ifthewheelisturnedtotheright,thewheelsmustdeecttotheright.Dependingonhowfarthewheelisturnedtothe
right,thewheelswilldeectmoreorless.
In the middle position of the wheel, the wheels should be in parallel to the chassis (can be set via the trim controller
"STEERING TRIM"). A spring in the wheel automatically returns the wheel to the centre position.
