15. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built with the latest available technology, there can still
bemalfunctionsorerrors.Forthisreason,wewouldliketogiveyousomeinformationonhowtodealwithpossible
problems.
The model doesn’t respond or does not respond properly

Exchange the rechargeable batteries in the vehicle or batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter for new
ones.

the same build, of type "18650" (rated voltage 3.7 V).
Always insert two rechargeable batteries of the same build in the vehicle, both of which must be fully charged.
Never use rechargeable batteries with different charge states in the vehicle. If the vehicle is then used, this
may cause deep discharge of the rechargeable battery with the lower charge. Deep discharge of a Li-Ion
rechargeable battery will render the rechargeable battery useless!

transmitter and receiver aerial are vertical. If you point the transmitter aerial at the vehicle, the range will be very
short!
The vehicle slows down or the steering servo shows only slight or no reaction; the range between transmitter
and vehicle is very short
• Therechargeablebatteriesinthevehicleareweakorempty.
The receiver power supply and thus also the power supply of the steering servo is achieved through the recharge-
able batteries in the vehicle. Therefore, weak or discharged rechargeable batteries will cause the receiver to no
longer work properly.
Replace the rechargeable batteries by two new, fully charged ones (before inserting a new drive battery, wait at least
5-10minutesuntilmotorandspeedcontrollerhavecooleddownsufciently).
• Checkthebatteries/rechargeablebatteriesinthetransmitter.
