7. Information on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keepbatteries/rechargeablebatteriesoutofthereachofchildren.
• Donotleaveanybatteries/rechargeablebatterieslyingaroundopenly.Thereisariskofbatteriesbeingswallowed
by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately!
• Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesmustneverbeshort-circuited,disassembledorthrownintore.Thereisadanger
of explosion!
• Leakingordamagedbatteries/rechargeablebatteriescancausechemicalburnstoskinoncontact;therefore,use
suitableprotectivegloves.Theuidleakingfrombatteries/rechargeablebatteriesmayalsodamageotherobjects
and surfaces.
• Donotrechargenormal,non-rechargeablebatteries.Thereisariskofreandexplosion!Onlychargerechargeable
batteries intended for this purpose. Use suitable battery chargers.
• Alwaysobservecorrectpolarity(positive/+andnegative/-)wheninsertingthebatteries/rechargeablebatteries.
• Ifyoudonotuseitforanyextendedperiodoftime(e.g.duringstorage),removethebatteries/rechargeablebatteries
inserted in the transmitter to prevent damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries. Disconnect the receiver
power supply from the receiver completely.
Recharge the rechargeable batteries about every 3 months. Otherwise, so-called deep discharge may result, ren-
dering the rechargeable batteries useless.
• Rechargeablebatteriesheatupduringcharging/discharging(drivingthevehicle).Waituntiltherechargeablebatte-
ries have reached room temperature before charging them. The same applies after the charging procedure. Do not
use the rechargeable receiver battery in the vehicle until it has cooled down completely after the charging process.
• Alwaysreplacetheentiresetofbatteriesorrechargeablebatteriesinthetransmitter.Nevermixfullychargedbat-
teries/rechargeable batteries with partially discharged ones. Always use batteries or rechargeable batteries of the
same type and manufacturer.
• Nevermixbatteriesandrechargeablebatteries!Usebatteriesorrechargeablebatteriesforthetransmitter.
• Removethereceiverbatteryfromthevehicleforcharging.
