u Steering works opposite to the way the wheel is turned at the transmitter
• Activatethesteeringreversesettingatthetransmitter.
u Driving works opposite to the movement of the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter
• Usually,thevehicleshoulddriveforwardsifyoupullthethrottle/brakeleveratthetransmittertowardsthehandle.
Activate the driving reverse setting at the transmitter.
uThesteeringisnotfunctioningorisfunctioningincorrectly,steeringdeectionatthevehicleinsufcient
• Ifthevehicleisstandingontheground,thevehicle'sweightwillcausetheservotoworkcorrectlyonlyoncethe
model is driven normally. Place the vehicle on an appropriate car stand for testing the steering, so that the wheels
can turn freely.
• Ifthetransmitteroffersdualratesettings,checkthesesettings(observetransmitter’soperatinginstructions).Ifthe
dualratesettingistoolow,thesteeringdeectionisveryloworthesteeringservowillnolongerreact.
The same applies for the so-called EPA setting (= "End-Point-Adjustment", setting of the end positions for the servo
path to protect the servo mechanics) if present at the transmitter.
• Checkthesteeringmechanicsforlooseparts;e.g.checkiftheservoarmisproperlyattachedtotheservo.Inspite
of the servo saver, it is possible that the servo arm breaks and jumps due to hard impact and.
• Thesteeringmechanicsarestiffbecauseofdirtorrust.Cleanandlubricatethecompletesteeringmechanics.
• Theservosaverissettooweak.
u Weak braking function
• Adjustthethrottle/brakefunctionneutralpositionatthetransmitter.Ifthetrimpathisnotsufcient,checktheposition
of the servo arm on the throttle/brake servo and its screw connections.
• Checkthelinkagebetweenthethrottle/brakeservoandcarburettor/brake.
• Checktheconditionofthebrakepadsorreplacethem.
