5. Required Accessories
Operation of the vehicle requires various accessories that are not part of the delivery.
Components that are absolutely necessary:
• Rechargeablebatteriesorbatteriesforthetransmitter(fortypeandrequirednumber,seeoperatinginstructionsfor
the remote control system)
• 3-cellLiPodrivebattery(nominalvoltage11.1V)withT-plugsystem
• Suitablechargerfortransmitterbatteryordrivebattery
A suitable charger for the rechargeable battery type must be used. When using an unsuitable charger, the
rechargeablebatterymayexplodeorcauseare!
 Therefore,onlyuseaspecicallyintendedLiPochargerforchargingaLiPodrivebattery;setthecellnum-
ber and charge current accordingly.
The LiPo charger used also must have a balancer so that all cells have the same voltage status. Deep
discharge or over-charging of individual cells may result otherwise. This will damage the LiPo drive battery
andalsoposesadangerofreandexplosion.
 AlwaysobservetheoperatinginstructionsandthesafetynotesoftheLiPochargerusedbyyou;apartfrom
this, observe all information and safety notes enclosed with the LiPo drive battery.
We also recommended the following components for best use of the vehicle, we:
• Sparetyres(tobeabletoquicklychangerun-down/damagedtyres)
• Assemblystand(fortestrunsandeasiermaintenance)
• Varioustools(e.g.screwdriver,long-nosepliers,hexagonspanner)
• Compressedairspray(forcleaningpurposes)
• Threadlockervarnish(tofastenloosenedscrewconnectionsagain)
