g) Switching on the Speed Controller

Switchonthespeedcontrollerbymovingtheslider(seegureinchapter9.f)intothe"ON"position.Thenwaitfora

fewseconds(leavethethrottle/brakeleveronthetransmitterintheneutralposition;donotmoveit)untilthespeed

controller has completed its self-test.

 Whenswitchingon,theredandgreenLEDswillbrieylightuptogetherandthemotorwillemitabeep(the

beep is produced by a brief activation of the motor by the speed controller).

Then the green LED, the red LED and again the green LED will light up in quick succession. A sound melody

"Di-Be-Du" will be issued by the motor.

 Ifthespeedcontrolleremitsanyotherashingorsoundsignals,observechapter10.d).

Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.

h) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body

Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the safety clips removed at the start.
