Description of the setting functions:
• Function#1,greenLED,ashes1xshort:Drivefunction
The speed controller can be switched between "forwards/brake", "forwards/reverse" and "forwards/brake/reverse"
here. In the setting "forwards/brake", reversing is deactivated. This is frequently required in competitions.
The setting "forwards/reverse" should not be used. It is used exclusively for "Crawler" vehicles.
• Function#2,greenLED,ashes2xshort:Max.reversespeed
The maximum speed for reversing can be programmed with this function. We recommend setting a slower speed,
so that the vehicle can be controlled better in reverse driving.
 Ifreversedrivinghasbeenswitchedoff(see"Function#1"),programmingofthefunction#2hasnoeffect.
• Function#3,greenLED,ashes3xshort:Brakeforce
The speed controller unit allows proportional braking strength depending on the setting of the transmitter lever.
A high setting decreases braking distance but negatively affects the lifetime of the drive (drive pinion, main gear,
differential, tyres).
• Function#4,greenLED,ashes4xshort:Motorbrake
If you reduce the throttle at the transmitter or move back the throttle/brake lever into the neutral position, the vehicle
will slow down automatically. The effect is thus exactly like that of the motor-braking function in a "real" car when you
release the throttle pedal without stepping on the brake pedal.
This also corresponds to the brake function of a conventional electric motor (a brushless electric motor does not
have any strong magnets that brake the rotor).
• Function#5,greenLED,ashes5xshort:Neutralrange(forneutralsettingontransmitter)
This function allows the range or area "D" (see picture right) of the
speed controller is recognised as the neutral position by the transmitter.
Forthe"D"area,thevaluesof3%,6%,9%and12%oftheentirelever
travelcanbeset(E+D+F=100%).
