The vehicle does not stop when the throttle/brake lever is released
• Correctthedrivingtrimmingonthetransmitter(settingneutralposition).
• Ifthetrimmingpathisnotsufcient,reprogramtheneutralandfullthrottlepositions;seechapter10.a).
The vehicle stops
• Theovertemperatureprotectionofthespeedcontrollerhasbeenactivated.ThegreenLEDatthespeedcontroller
willashandthemotorwillemitabeepeverytwoseconds.Waitforafewminutesuntilthespeedcontrollerhas
cooledoffsufciently.
• Theundervoltageprotectionofthespeedcontrollerhasbeenactivated.Thedrivebatteryusedisat.TheredLED
atthespeedcontrollerwillashandthemotorwillemitabeepeverysecond.Replacetheatdrivebatterybyafully
charged one.
• Thevehicleistoofaraway.Thespeedcontrollerhasswitchedoffthemotorforreasonsofsafety,sincenovalid
signalissentbythereceiver.TheredLEDatthespeedcontrollerwillashandthemotorwillemittwobeepsevery
second.
This may be different if the receiver used has its own failsafe function. Observe the separately enclosed
operating instructions for the remote control system.
Afterswitchingonthespeedcontroller,theredLEDatthespeedcontrollerwillashandthemotorwillemit
two beeps every second. The motor does not start up.
• Checkthatthetransmitterison.
• Arethebatteriesorrechargeablebatteriesinsertedinthetransmitteroraretheyat?
• Releasethethrottle/brakeleveratthetransmitterandputthetrimmingofthedrivingfunctiontothecentreposition.
Otherwise, the self-test of the speed controller cannot be completed after activation and the speed controller/motor
will not work for reasons of safety.
• For2.4GHzremotecontrolsystems,thereceivermustbetaughttothetransmitter.Thisprocessmaybereferred
to by the terms of "Binding" or "Pairing". The teaching process usually has already been performed by the manu-
facturer;however,itcan,ofcourse,alsobedoneagainbyyou.Alsoobservetheseparatelyenclosedoperating
instructions for the remote control system.
If the receiver has not been bound to the transmitter, it cannot pass on a valid control signal to the speed controller.
In this case, the speed controller does not work for reasons of safety.
The vehicle doesn't drive in a straight line correctly
• Setstraightdrivingatthetransmitterusingtherespectivetrimmingcontrolforthesteeringfunction.
• Checkthesteeringrods,theservoarmanditsscrewconnection.
• Didyourcarhaveanaccident?Ifso,checkthevehicleforanydefectiveorbrokenpartsandreplacethem.
Steering works opposite to the way the turning wheel is turned at the transmitter
• Activatethesteeringreversesettingatthetransmitter.
