a) Remove Car Body
Pull out the four retention clips and take off the car body upwards.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
Uncoil the aerial cable completely and smooth it out care-
fully. Then insert the aerial cable through the attachment
at the vehicle from below and then through the included
aerial tube.
Plug the aerial tube into the respective holder at the ve-
hicle(seearrowinthegureontheright).Letanyexcess
aerial cable protrude loosely from the tip of the aerial tube.
The aerial cable may not be plugged into the holder yet at
delivery of the vehicle.
Never shorten the aerial cable! Never coil the
aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range!
c) Conguring the Speed Controller
Thespeedcontrollerhastwojumperstocongurethedri-
ving function and the rechargeable battery type.
Jumper „Reverse“ (A): This switches reverse driving off
(„Disable“) or on („Enable“).
Jumper „Battery“ (B): Sets what sort of drive battery is
connected to the speed controller (LiPo or NiMH).
Important!
If you use a LiPo drive battery but set the re-
chargeable battery type to NiMH, the rechar-
geable battery will be deep discharged and
destroyed.
Therefore, always set the proper rechargeable battery type before operating the vehicle.
The setting „Lipo“ causes the speed controller to reduce the motor power to 50% when the battery voltage drops
below 6.5 V.
The speed controller switches off the motor below a battery voltage of 6.0 V. This way, the LiPo drive battery is pro-
tected from harmful deep discharge.
Forthesetting„NiMH“,themotoroutputwillbereducedatarechargeablebatteryvoltageoflessthan4.5V;themotor
will be switched off if the battery voltage drops to under 4.0 V.
