Check the carburettor and brake linkage.
With the throttle/brake servo (1) set to neutral, the
carburettor linkage rod (2) must push slightly onto
the mechanical stop of the rudder horn via the
carburettor throttle flap.
The brake linkage (3) must not affect the brake lever
(4) and therefore the brake yet.
If the brake function is operated at the transmitter,
the rudder horn moves towards the arrows. The
throttle linkages are pulled even more strongly
towards the mechanical stop at the carburettor (also
see figure 18) by the installed spring. The motor
speed must not decrease. If this is the case, the front
adjustment ring must be adjusted (push towards the
carburettor).
At the same time, the throttle lever (4) is moved and operates the brake. Brake linings are subject to wear. After a
certain operating duration, the brake effect will reduce depending on driving manner. The adjustment screw (5) can
be used to adjust the linkage until the usual brake effect is achieved again.
