11. Motor Sound Simulator
a) General
The vehicle is equipped with a special motor sound simu-
lator (A) that emits the motor sound of a V8-motor via an
integrated speaker.
Depending on the concurrent control of the speed control-
ler, the motor sound is output accordingly, so that a starter,
idle or acceleration and full-throttle sound is possible.
The motor sound simulation starts when you tap the lever
for the motor control (throttle/brake lever) of your transmit-
terbriey(intheforwarddirection).
Usethebutton"+"(C)toincreasethevolumestepbystep.
The button "-" (D) reduces the volume step by step. In the
lowest setting, the installed speaker is switched off.
The power supply of the motor sound simulator takes place via an interim plug (B) right from the drive battery used
due to the required power intake.
The motor sound simulator is connected directly to the receiver output also used for the speed controller via a Y-cable.
The motor sound will be emitted according to the throttle position for the speed controller.
b) Programming Neutral and Full Throttle Positions
For the motor sound to be emitted correctly, the neutral and the full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving
can be programmed in the motor sound simulator.
This programming has already been performed by the manufacturer. If necessary, however, you can do it yourself at
any time.
Attention!
When programming, the full throttle position for forward and reverse driving must be started at the transmit-
ter in each case.
To avoid accidents or injury, the model must therefore be put on a suitable base for the wheels to turn freely.

For reasons of safety, we recommend disconnecting the motor from the speed controller (remember the
plug orientation). With the motor disconnected, the motor sound simulator sound signals can also be heard
better during programming.
Proceed as follows for programming:
• Switchonthetransmitter.Thenconnectthedrivebatterytothevehicle.Switchonthespeedcontroller.Thevehicle
should react to the transmitter's control signals now (speed controller/steering servo).
