c) During Operation
• Donottakeanyriskswhenoperatingtheproduct!Yourownsafetyandthatofyourenvironmentdependscompletely
on your responsible use of the model.
• Improperoperationmaycauseseriousinjuryandpropertydamage!Therefore,makesurethatthereisasufcient
safety distance to any persons, animals or objects in operation.
• Selectasuitablebodyofwatertooperateyourmodelin.Indoubt,askthepersonresponsibleforthebodyofwater
whether operation of your model is permitted there.
• Theselectedbodyofwatermustbefreeofclimbers(e.g.seaweed)foroperationofyourmodel.Therealsomustbe
noobjects(e.g.branches)oatinginthewater.
• Observecurrentsandotherdetrimentconditionsintheselectedbodyofwaterthatmaymakeoperationofthemodel
difcultorevenimpossible.Dangeroflossofthemodel!
• Driveyourmodelonlyifyourabilitytorespondisunrestricted.Theinuenceoftiredness,alcoholormedicationcan
cause incorrect responses.
• Neverdriverighttowardsanyswimmingpersonsoranimals.
• Neverpointtheaerialofthetransmitterdirectlyatthemodel.Thishasaconsiderablenegativeeffectonsignal
transmission to the model.
• Motor,speedcontrolleranddrivebatterymayheatupduringoperationofthemodel.Forthisreason,waitfor5to
10 minutes before recharging or replacing the drive battery. The drive motor must have cooled down to ambient
temperature.
• Neverswitchofftheremotecontrol(transmitter)whilethemodelisinuse.Afteravoyage,alwaysdisconnectthe
drivebatteryrstorswitchoffthemodel.Onlythenshouldyouswitchofftheremotecontrol(transmitter).
• Incaseofadefectoramalfunction,removetheproblembeforeusingthemodelagain.
• Neverexposeyourmodelortheremotecontroltodirectsunlightorexcessiveheatforanextendedperiodoftime.
