d) Inspecting the Rudder System
The rudder system is already installed ready for use ex works. Figure 3 shows the rudder (1), the attachment screws
of the rudder system (2), the linkage connection for the linkage rods (3), the connection of the water cooling (4) and
the entry opening of the water cooling (5).

Switch your remote control on and put the steering servo to the neutral position (middle position). Adjust the rudder
in the neutral position as well. Now fasten the linkage rods with the hexagon socket screw of the linkage connection.
Check the function of the rudder linkage. Also observe the notes in the following chapter 9.

loosescrews,seegure3,items2and3)mustberepairedbeforethevoyage.
Otherwise, the linkage rods and/or rudder system may come loose unintentionally in operation. There is a
danger of further damage to your model (e.g. the steering servo blocks). Your model will also no longer be
controllable and may be lost. Also observe the following notes in chapter 9.
"Metal/metal" screw connections must be secured against unintended loosening either with so-called "stop
nuts" or with a drop of thread locker varnish.
