9. Commissioning of the Model

a) Inserting the Drive Battery

Openthehulldeck.Thedrivebatterymustbeattachedtothebottomofthebodywithhook-and-looptape(gure5,

item1)sothatitwillbekeptsecureinitspositioneveninroughoperation(gure5,item2).Thebatteryshouldbe

mounted as close to the motor as possible for best running properties.

 Observetighttoftherechargeablebatterytoensurefreemovementofthesteeringservoinoperationas

well.

Themaximumpossiblerechargeablebatterysizeisapprox.110x33x20mm(LxWxH).

When installing the rechargeable battery, observe that there must be a distance of at least 5 mm between the re-

chargeablebatteryandtherudderhorn(gure5,item3).Otherwise,thesteeringservowillbeblocked.
