c) Switching on the Quadrocopter
For the receiver in the quadrocopter to react to the transmitter signals, the receiver and transmitter must have the
same digital encoding (binding). For this reason, it is important that you perform the activation process according to
the following description.
Move the control lever for the pitch and yaw functions
(also see gure 1, item 9) to the bottom position = motor
off position (step 1).
Turn on the transmitter with the on/off switch (also see g-
ure 1, item 6) (step 2). The transmitter emits a brief signal
sound and the LED display in the transmitter (also see
gure 1, item 1) starts to ash.
Turn on the quadrocopter with the on/off switch on its right
side (also see gure 5, item 11). For this, push the switch
from the (viewed in ight direction) rear position "OFF" to
the front switch position "ON" (step 3).
The LEDs in the landing struts ash quickly continually.
Put the quadrocopter onto a horizontal and smooth sur-
face (table top, etc.).
Then move the control lever for the pitch and yaw func-
tions to the top-most position (step 4). The LEDs in the
quadrocopter ash a little more slowly. Move the control
lever back to the bottom-most position right after this (step
5).
The transmitter emits a high signal sound and the LED
display in the transmitter as well as the LEDs in the land-
ing struts are now lit permanently.
Now your quadrocopter is ready to start.
If the LEDs at the landing struts do not remain lit
after activation but continue to ash, activation
has failed and must be repeated entirely.
