h) Switching on the control/receiver unit
Switchonthecontrol/receiverunit(switchposition"ON",seegureinchapter9e).
The motor then emits beeps for function control.
The beeps are generated by a short actuation of the motor by the controller/receiver unit.
Beep Meaning
One short beep Battery type "NIMH" is set
Two short beeps Battery type "LIPO" is set
One long beep Transmitter signal and correct neutral position have been detected, control/re-
ceiver unit is ready for operation
An LED on the control/receiver unit acts as a function display:
LED Meaning
LED stays constant Transmitter signal has been detected, control/receiver unit is ready for operation
LED off Transmitter signal has not been recognized (e.g. transmitter is switched off)

Check the drive and steering functions. For example, move the steering wheel (1) left and right, or carefully move the
throttle/brake lever (2) for forwards/reverse driving.
If the vehicle drive starts even though the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter is in the neutral position
(centre position), move the "TH TRIM" control dial (11) on the transmitter until the motor stops.
i) Attaching and fastening the car body
Now put the car body on the brackets and fasten it with the safety clips that were removed at the start.
