b) Plug-in Charger
• Theplug-inchargerisonlysuitableforcharging6-cellNiMHrechargeablebatteries.
Never use the plug-in charger for any other purpose. Never use the plug-in charger for charging LiPo rechar-
geablebatteries(orotherrechargeablebatteriesthanNiMH);thereisadangerofreandexplosion!
• Alwaysobservecorrectpolarity(plus/+andminus/-)whenconnectinganNiMHrechargeablebatterytotheplug-in
charger.
• Theplug-inchargerisconstructedpursuanttoprotectionclassII.
• Useonlyapropermainssocketofthepublicsupplymainsforvoltage/currentsupplyoftheplug-incharger.
• Thesockettowhichtheplug-inchargerisconnectedmustbeeasilyaccessible.
• Donotpulltheplug-inchargerfromthemainssocketatthecable.Alwaystakeitbythesideofthehousingandpull
it from the socket straight.
• Protecttheplug-inchargerfrommoistureandwetnessaswellasfromdamage.
If the plug-in charger has become moist or wet or damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life from electric
shock!
First deactivate all sides of the mains socket to which the plug-in charger is connected (e.g. switch off the
respective fuse or turn out the fuse. Then deactivate the FI protection switch).
 Onlythenpulltheplug-inchargerfromthemainssocket;nolongerusetheplug-incharger,butdisposeof
it environmentally compatibly.
c) Commissioning
The manual for the remote control system is included separately. Always observe all safety information
included in it as well as any other information!
• Onlyuseasuitabledrivebatteryforthevehicle.Neveroperatethespeedcontrollerwithamainsadapter,noteven
for test purposes.
This vehicle is only suitable for a 6-cell NiMH drive battery (rated voltage 7.2 V) or a 2-cell LiPo drive battery
(rated voltage 7.4 V).
 Whenusingadrivebatterywithmorecells,thereisadangerofrefromoverheatingofthespeedcontroller.
Apart from this, the vehicle‘s drive will be overloaded and damaged by this (e.g. differential). Loss of gua-
rantee/warranty!
If a LiPo drive battery is used, the undervoltage protection of the drive battery must be switched on before
driving the vehicle. Otherwise, there may be deep discharge of the LiPo drive battery, which will permanently
destroy it.
• Whenputtingthedeviceintooperation,alwaysturnonthetransmitterrst.Onlythenmustthevehicle‘sdrivebattery
be connected with the speed controller and the speed controller switched on. Otherwise, the vehicle may show
unpredictable responses!
