b) Programming the Undervoltage Recognition
The speed controller permits using a 6-cell NiMH drive battery (rated voltage 7.2 V) or a 2-cell LiPo drive battery
(rated voltage 7.4 V).
A 6-cell NiMH drive battery is part of the delivery scope of the vehicle. A LiPo drive battery can be ordered
as an accessory.
Due to the higher capacity of the rechargeable battery, the LiPo drive battery permits a longer driving dura-
tion.
Attention!
The enclosed plug-in charger is only suitable for charging 6-cell NiMH drive batteries. A LiPo drive battery
mustnotbechargedwithit!Thereisariskofreandexplosion!
If you want to purchase and use a LiPo drive battery for the vehicle, you therefore also need a suitable LiPo
charger. Observe that it has a balancer installed.
As described in chapter 7, a balancer prevents overcharging of a single LiPo cell by inspection and correc-
tion of the individual cell voltages. When overcharging a LiPo cell (max. cell voltage 4.24 V), the LiPo battery

If a 2-cell LiPo drive battery is used for the vehicle, check before each drive whether the undervoltage recognition of
the speed controller is switched on.
After activation of the speed controller, it will emit a sound signal.

Soundsignal„••---“: Undervoltagerecognitionon(requiredforLiPodrivebattery)
The sound signal is generated because the motor is activated for a moment.
