d) Adjusting the Slip Clutch
The slip clutch protects the transmission from overload
e.g. when starting on an especially non-slip surface.
The corresponding setting of the slip clutch also protects
the vehicle from overturning as a result of the high torque
of the brushless drive when starting.

the gear cover.
The slip clutch can be adjusted by twisting the hexagon
nut (C).
Turn is clockwise to the right to increase power transmis-
sion, turn it counter-clockwise to the left to reduce power
transmission.
The manufacturer has already pre-set the slip clutch;
therefore, changes are usually not necessary.
If the slip clutch is tightened too much, the driving power will be fully transmitted and the slip clutch is inac-
tive.Thismaydamagethedifferential;therealsoisthedangerthatthevehicleturnsoverduetothehigh
torque if the underground friction is too high.
If the slip clutch is set too "soft", the slip clutch wears very strongly. In addition, acceleration is poor or the
vehicle does not move at all (slippage of slip clutch).
Adjust the slip clutch in small steps only (max. 1/4 turn) and then test the vehicle's behaviour at start-up.
