1. Remove the fascia door. Return to owner.
2. Detach the rubber exhaust hangers and lower the rearward portion of the exhaust ((2) on single exhaust, (4) on dual).
3. Raise hitch into position over the exhaust pipes aligning the slots in the hitch with the weldnuts in the bottom of the frame
rails.
4. Loosely install the M12 bolts and conical washers for existing weldnuts in bumper. Or install 1/2” bolts, conical washers and
handle nuts for bumpers without existing weldnuts.
5. Install M12 bolts & conical washers through receiver at the bumper attachment. Sandwiching the spacer between the
receiver and bumper and into the weldnuts in vehicles bumper.
6. Loosely attach fasteners as shown, center hitch on vehicle and tighten fasteners to specifications below.
7. Raise exhaust system back into position.
Tighten all M12 bolts with torque wrench to 92 Lb.-Ft. (125 N*M), Tighten all 1/2”-13 Gr.5 bolts with torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102N*M)

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5
and SAE J684.
