6. PREPARING FOR MUSIC STREAMING
HRA19INT is the default device name for DLNA. You can rename it as
you like.
The following describes how to set up the media streaming feature
from a PC or other media server.
Read the instructions of the software or app you use for music
streaming.
Make sure the music files are in MP3, WMA, WAV, or AAC format to
stream music to HRA19INT.
See Section 5.7 for details on controlling HRA19INT for music
playback.
UPnP
To enjoy streaming music from your PC, you need to do the following steps on
your PC:
1. Connect the PC to the network.
2. Make sure the HRA19INT is turned on and connected to the same
network.
3. Open the UPnP platform Windows Media Player (11 or higher).
4. Alternatively, other platforms or servers such as Windows Media
Connection can be used.
The following setup example shows the connection in Windows XP and
Windows Media Player version 11.
