4 The PIN number has a maximum of 8 digits. When the
TouchLite® is dialed, the display will not show the last 4 digits
of the PIN. This is for security purposes.
**CAUTION: When a PIN or password is programmed into
memory, other users can obtain the messages. A password is not
required to be programmed.
Editing the TouchLite®
To display the number that has
been programmed into the
TouchLite®, press the TouchLite®
Message Retrieval Button and
read the display. Note: This will
activate dialing.
1 The handset must be on-hook.
2 Press the DIRECTORY / STORE key until the Caller ID displays
VOICE MAIL NO.?.
3 Use the DELETE key to delete
the number. Then, use the
keypad to re-enter the correct
numbering sequence.
4 When the number is correct, press the TouchLite® Message
Retrieval button to store the number.
Note: When editing the voicemail
PIN number or password, the
display will not show the last 4
characters. A dash will be
displayed in the characters position
on the LCD.
