Control Features of REL T-Series
8 REL T-Series Owner’s Manual
Amplification: As with all REL Sub-Bass Systems, at the heart of every T-Series
speaker is a powerful, high current amplifier that delivers both the energy and control
to produce low bass frequencies with the force and detail necessary to achieve the
desired "REL effect."
• Drivers: Delivering this power to the room is a system of carefully specified active
and passive drivers. The active drivers are down-firing, a feature consistent with the
top of line REL models, in order to take advantage of the greater low-bass efficiency
provided by such a design. The forward firing passive allows for increased output
and textural detail. Working in tandem, these drivers produce prodigious bass with
the articulation necessary to effectively partner virtually any appropriate loudspeaker
or system to realize the "REL effect."
Due to the novel and powerful capabilities of this product noted above, it is especially
important that you read through this manual in its entirety, in order to realize the full
potential of your REL and connect it accordingly.
