LIMITED WARRANTY
All of the Rohden doors are manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards. Each door is warranted to be of sound material
and workmanship and to be free of defects which would cause the door to be unfit for the ordinary recommended use for a
period of 5 years from the date of manufacture.
Should Rohden deem a door to be defective and thereby not in compliance with this limited warranty, Rohden will, at its option:
(a.) Repair the door, or (b.) Supply a replacement door in the same fit and finish in which the original door was supplied, or (c.)
refund the purchase price paid to Rohden for the door. If it is Rohden’s choice to replace a defective door and the door has been
discontinued or otherwise not available. Rohden reserves the right to replace the defective doors with a door of similar style and
value. THE COST OF LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR FINISHING AND INSTALLING THE REPLACEMENT OR
ORIGINAL DOOR AND ANY OTHER COST ASSOCIATED WITH THE REPLACEMENT DOOR WILL BE THE
SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERSON MAKING THE WARRANTY CLAIM AND UNDER NO
CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ROHDEN PAY THOSE COSTS.
This limited warranty will not apply to the following which are not considered a defect in material or workmanship:
A) Damaged outside the control of Rohden including but not limited to damage caused during transportation or
installation, damages caused by abuse, neglect, or accident, damage due to exposure to the elements before,
during or after installation or damage due to the forces of nature.
B) Damage due to failure to comply with instructions for finishing or installing the door or damage resulting from
failure to perform normal maintenance.
C) Natural variations in color, grain or tone of the wood or unsatisfactory results in the color, finish, texture, gloss
level or tone variations of any field applied finish.
D) Damage or unsatisfactory operation resulting from extremely high or low humidity.
E) Warp, bow or misalignment of the jamb or frame in which the door is hung.
In order to obtain warranty service for your door, prior to beginning any repair work and within two years from the date of
purchase, written notification must be sent to Rohden Doors, Attention WARRANTY CLAIMS, PO Box 4153 Alpharetta,
GA 30023 Your notification must include proof of your purchase date, purchase location, the reason for which the claim is
being made and your name, address and telephone number. As doors can temporarily warp as they adjust to local temperatures
and humidity Rohden may defer action on a claim for which warp is the claimed nonconformity for a period of up to (12) twelve
months. Warp of less than ¼” as measured across the plane of the door as deviation from a straight edge is not a defect in
material or workmanship.
This limited warranty represents the total liability of Rohden. No warranty is expressed or implied as to the doors
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. ROHDEN’S LIABILITY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO REPLACING,
REPAIRING, ANY DOOR DEEMED DEFECTIVE OR, AT ITS OPTION, REFUNDING THE PURCHASE PRICE
PAID TO ROHDEN FOR SAID DOOR. IN NO EVENT WILL ROHDEN BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSE, INJURY,
LOSS OR DAMAGE, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL, ARRISING FROM
THE SALE, USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ROHDEN DOOR OR FROM THE BREACH OF THIS OR ANY
OTHER WARRANTY WHEATHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or of implied warranties so the above
exclusions and limitations may or may not apply to you. In such case, the implied warranty shall be the same duration as that of
our expressed warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may or may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
