This model is shipped from the factory taken down IS shown in Fig, 1.
Put Gun Together. Hold 'lore-end rearward to retain recoil spring withirj
fore-end, and unscrew the knurled magazine cap at forward end.

Remove fore.end from magaziJ,1etube. ::. .

Fit barrel.extensioninto receiver and barrel guide over magazine tube; push
barrel into receiver until barrel extension is entirely within receiver; hold barre~
in this position against recoil spring pressure. 'Put lore-end on magazine tube and'
tighlen magazine cap to hOld lore-end tightly against receiver.
CAUTION-Do not press carrier bteh button allowing, breech block to spring
forward when barrel is dismounted from gun.
Set Salety On: Push
