HEATING - VENTILATION AND ISOLATING THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT
(continued)
Isolating the passenger
compartment
Button C
Normal operation of the system is
obtained using external air.
The air recirculation position allows
the passenger compartment to be
isolated from the external atmosphere
(driving in polluted areas...).
To enter the isolation mode, press
button C.
This function allows the desired
warmth of the passenger
compartment to be achieved as
quickly as possible.
This button switches the air
recirculation system on or off.
Warning light D comes on when the
function is operational. In this
position, air is taken from within the
passenger compartment and is
recycled without outside air entering.
Prolonged use of the isolation mode
may cause odours due to the air not
being renewed and may cause the
windows to mist up.
Return to normal operation (external
air) by pressing button C as soon as
the polluted area is left behind.
