CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
AVOID HARSH CHEMICALS
Keep citrus-based cleaners and ammonia away
from the sink when cleaning. These can damage
the surface texture of composite granite. In the
event that these types of ingredients are spilled
inside your sink, rinse thoroughly and remove
the chemicals as quickly as possible.
SANITIZATION
Make sure to clean all composite granite sinks
regularly, especially after putting foods or
other wastes in the sink. Rinse the sink with
warm water, and use a nylon brush to gently
scrub the surface with dishwashing liquid. We
recommend Dawn® dish soap. Dry thoroughly
with a clean, soft cloth to prevent water from
standing on the surface.
DISCOLORATION
In the event of discoloration due to rusty water
or oily substances left in the sink, use a wet
MR. Clean® Magic Eraser®, or an equivalent
product, to vigorously scrub the sink bowl. A
bleach solution is also helpful for removing
discolored spots. For this solution, ll the sink
with approximately 2 inches of warm water and
add 3-4 splashes of bleach. We recommend
Clorox® bleach. Leave the solution in the sink
for 15 minutes, then rinse with pure tap water.
Always use rubber gloves when working with
bleach and chlorine products.
HARD WATER
If you have hard water, the bowl of the sink
should be wiped down with a soft cloth after
each use to avoid the buildup of mineral stains.
Additionally, a heavy solution of water softener
and hot water can be applied with a cloth and
then dried to reduce spotting.
