You can also launch HEW by selecting Debug as->HEW Debugging in the project explorer view
as shown below.
5.3.2 Debugging In HEW
The pre-configured workspace will be invoked for all the supported targets. You can directly
start debugging. The project binary will be available in the HEW workspace.
