Hitachi’s 16-bit microcontroller families
H8S and H8/300H.
Hitachi is the second biggest supplier of
16-bit microcontrollers to the European
market (according to Dataquest),as well
as the third for 4-bit,sixth for 8-bit and
number 2 for 32-bit RISC
microcontrollers (the latter on a world-
wide basis).
