C-Compiler/Hitachi
Workbench
Hitachi’s C-Compiler is designed to
exercise close control over the hardware
of the microcontroller, for example using
in-line function calls,or by allowing
interrupt service routines being written
directly in ‘C’. It is also highly
optimising for the H8/H8S families, with
the ability to select optimisation for
speed or code size.
It is being operated under a user-friendly,
project oriented Windows 95 GUI, called
Hitachi Workbench (HWB). Therefore
engineers can quickly concentrate on
writing their software instead of trying to
make the Compiler work. The time
