2.2 Specific Functions and Notes for the Emulator when Using the
SH7147 Group Debugging MCU Board
2.2.1 Selecting the Target MCU
Select the target MCU for the emulator according to that in use. For details, refer to section 4,
Preparations for Debugging, in the SuperH™ Family E10A-USB Emulator User’s Manual.
For debugging the SH7147 Group debugging MCU board, select the following in the [Debugger
Target] and [Select Emulator mode] dialog boxes.

2.2.2 Event Condition Functions
The emulator is used to set event conditions for the following three functions:
• Break of the user program
• Internal trace
• Start or end of performance measurement
