Changing the battery
If the microphone no longer functions, the battery has to be replaced.
The battery cover is located on the top of the device. Remove the battery cover by
pushing the grooved surface slightly backwards until it is opened a little.
Remove the battery cover.
Replace the battery (AA). When inserting it, make sure that the polarity is correct.
The polarity of the battery is indicated inside the battery cover.
Put the cover on again. Then, push the cover forwards until it clicks into place.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. The product contains no parts that require servic-
ing. Therefore, do not open it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical so-
lutions, which may damage the casing or even impair operation.
Disposal
a) Product
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Battery
You as the ultimate consumer are legally obliged (Regulation on Spent Batteries) to
return all dead batteries; disposal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbol
shown to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The sym-
bols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead
(marked on batteries, e.g., under the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You can hand in your used battery at the collection points of your community at no cost
or wherever batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
