2. Explanation of Symbols
The symbol with a lightning bolt in a triangle is used where there is a health
hazard, e.g. from electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in these opera-
ting instructions that must be observed strictly.
The arrow symbol indicates that special advice and notes on operation are
provided.
3. Intended Use
The product serves to wirelessly receive audio data via WLAN from a Smartphone
or Tablet or computer or notebook (Windows
®
/MAC) and to play them back, e.g. on a
speaker system (e.g. surround system, conventional speakers or similar).
The audio signal shall be output via the 3.5 mm jack plug connection (stereo) or the
visual digital output (SPDIF 5.1).
All common audio formats, such as MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, WMA, etc. are supported.
Additionally, the product supports Miracast, DLNA and AirPlay.
Operation takes place via the App “EZCast”, which can be downloaded free of charge.
The language is set automatically in the App. The product also has a speech output that
informs of the current action. The language is set automatically there as well.
The voltage supply takes place via a micro-USB connection.
Any other use than described above may damage the product and poses additional
dangers.
