• Youcanturnthesoundoffandonagainusingthe (J) button.
• The digits 0 through 9 (L) are used to directly select the saved favourites, and also e.g. for selecting the letters
when entering your password.
• The (I) button switches the brightness of the display between the normal setting and the power saving setting.
• The setting for the alarm opens directly on pressing the (E and 14) button.
• The sleep timer function can be enabled and set directly with the (D) button or the SLEEP button (12) of the
device. If you press one of the buttons once, a symbol and 015 appear at the top right of the display. The radio then
turns itself off after 15 minutes. If you press the button again, it will change the display to 030. The internet radio
then turns itself off after 30 minutes. The max. time is 180 minutes. If 180 is displayed, the function will be disabled
again with the next press of the button.
• Youcanincreaseorreducethevolumeoftheradiowiththetwobuttons- (P) and (Q) . The knob & button
DIAL/SELECT(3) of the device is also used to adjust the volume.
• The EQ (R) button toggles the different equaliser modes. The current selection is displayed at the top centre of the
display for a short time. “Normal, Centered, Jazz, Rock, Soundtrack, Classical, Pop, News” are available.
• The three buttons (S), (T) and (A) at the bottom of the remote control control the playback in the UPnP
mode.
• The (S) button is used to switch to the next track, the (A)buttonisusedtoswitchtotheprevioustrack.You
can start and pause the playback with the (T) button.
b) Internet radio
Switching to Internet radio:
• To switch to Internet radio mode, scroll in the main menu using one of the two buttons, (G and 6) or
(O and 5), to the right or left, till “Internet radio” is displayed in the centre of the display. Then press the OK button
(N and 3) to open the function.
Select the internet radio station:
• Toselectaninternetradiostation,openeither“Radiostations/music”or“Localstation”.Youcanalsoselect“Local
station” directly from the main menu. The local stations are sorted into different categories here.
• Youcansaveyourfavouritestationsto“MyFavourites”.Wewillcomebacktothispointlater.
• The last selected stations are always saved under the option “Last used station” so that you can directly select it
again.
• In our example for settings, navigate with the (O and 5) button or with the DIAL/SELECT (3) knob to “Radio
stations/Music” and then open it with the OK button (N and 3) or by pressing the DIAL/SELECT (3) button.
• Anumberofsubcategorieswillappearonthedisplay.Youcanalsonavigatethroughthesewiththetwobuttons
(G and 6) or (O and 5) or the DIAL/SELECT (3) knob. If you want to change to a category, you can either press
the OK button (N and 3) or the DIAL/SELECT (3) button
• For example, select “Genre”, “Blues”, “Blues/Top 10” one after the other and then select the desired station.
• The internet radio will then automatically connect to the selected station and play it.
• Additional information (e.g. Bit rate, station name, song etc.) is displayed, if you press button (O and 5) on the
remote or device during playback.
• If you want to go back in the menu here, simply press the (G and 6) buttons on the remote control or the device.
