c) Mains Connection
Before plugging in the mains plug, ensure that the device voltage indicated at the device cor-
responds to the available mains voltage. Do not connect the device if the indication does not
correspondtotheavailablemainsvoltage.Wrongsupplyvoltagewillcauseseriousdamage.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause poten-
tially fatal electric shock.
The mains socket to which the device is connected must be easily accessible so that it can be
quickly separated from the voltage/current supply in case of an error.
The CD player and all connected devices must be switched o when the mains voltage is con-
nected.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the dierent devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions. If an exten-
sion line is used, ensure that it is designed for the respective load.

In the deactivated position, the button of the on/o switch protrudes a little farther from the de-
vice than in the activated position.

There is a headphones socket (B) on the front of the CD player. Connect suitable stereo headphones here.
