e) Function "Alarm"
With this function, you can switch the alarm sound on or off. The alarm sound will be tripped when you have chosen
recording at motion detection (see chapter 16. a) and the screen/DVR has recognised a motion in the area recorded
by the radio camera.
Proceed as follows:
• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe
main menu is displayed.
• Use the "
" or the " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"SystemSetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the "
" or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"Alarm"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the "
" or the " " button to switch between "YES" (alarm sound on) and "NO" (alarm sound off).
• Conrmtheselectionbypushingthe"
"buttonbriey.
• The screen/DVR then switches back to the previous menu.
• ToswitchonemenulevelbackortoleavetheOSDmenu,brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRor
the "MENU" button on the IR remote control (you may need to push it several times).
f) Function "Upgrade"
Thisfunctionisusedtoperformarmwareupgradebythemanufacturer.
Ifthescreen/DVRhasarmwareupgradeavailable,thisisprovidedunderwww.conrad.comonthecorresponding
product page.
Proceed as follows:
• Useanew,emptymemorycard.Copythenewrmwareintotherootdirectoryofthememorycard.Insertthe
memory card into the screen/DVR.
• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe
main menu is displayed.
• Use the "
" or the " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"SystemSetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the "
" or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"Upgrade"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the "
" or the " " button to switch between "YES" (perform upgrade) and "NO" (cancel).
• Conrmtheselectionbypushingthe"

• If"YES"hasbeenchosen,thescreen/DVRwillstartthermwareupgrade.
Do not switch off the screen/DVR or disconnect it from the operating voltage. This would damage the
screen/DVR! Loss of guarantee/warranty!
Do not push any button on the screen/DVR during the upgrade.
• After completing the upgrade, the screen/DVR will restart.
