c) Inserting batteries in the IR remote control, battery replacement

• IfthereisathinprotectivelmontheIRremotecontrol,pullitoffnow.

• The IR remote control needs a battery type "CR2025".

At initial commissioning, the battery is already in the battery compartment of the IR remote control. A plastic

strip protects the battery from premature discharge.

Pull out the plastic strip to make the IR remote control operational.

• A battery change is required if the range of the IR remote control drops or the screen/DVR no longer reacts to the

IR remote control at all.

• Toperformthebatterychange,thesmalllockingclipatthebatterycompartmentmustbeunlatched,e.g.withaat

screwdriver, upon which the battery holder and battery can be pulled out.

• Replace the empty battery with a new one of type "CR2025". Always observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and

minus/-) when inserting the battery. The plus pole of the battery is marked with the icon "+" and must point towards

the bottom of the IR remote control.

• Push the battery holder back into the IR remote control. Observe correct orientation. Do not apply any force!
