Proceed as follows:
• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe
main menu is displayed.
• Use the " " or " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"Camerasetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or " "buttontoselectthefunction"CameraOn/Off"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " " button to select one of the four channels ("cam 1", "cam 2", "cam 3" or "cam 4").
• Switch the channel on ("ON") or off ("OFF") with the " " or the " " button.
• Conrmthesettingbypushingthe" "buttonbriey.
• The screen/DVR then switches back to the previous menu. If you want to switch off another unused channel,
proceed as described above.
• ToswitchonemenulevelbackortoleavetheOSDmenu,brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRor
the "MENU" button on the IR remote control (you may need to push it several times).
c) Function "Camera resolution"
Here, you can set the resolution at which the recordings are made on the memory card. You can choose between
"VGA" (640 x 480) and "HD" (1280 x 720).
Proceed as follows:
• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe
main menu is displayed.
• Use the " " or " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"Camerasetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"CameraResolution"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " " button to select one of the four channels ("cam 1", "cam 2", "cam 3" or "cam 4").
• Select the desired resolution for the video recording with the " " or the " " button.
"VGA" = Resolution 640 x 480
"HD" = Resolution 1280 x 720
VGA permits recordings of 30 frames/s, HD up to 20 frames/s. The HD resolution also requires more
memory, so that the maximum recording duration is shorter.
• Conrmthesettingbypushingthe" "buttonbriey.
• The screen/DVR then switches back to the previous menu. If you want to set the resolution for another channel,
proceed as described above.
