c) Function "Format"

If required, the inserted memory card can be reformatted. This not only can be used for quick and complete deletion

ofthememorycard.Reformattingcanalsoensurethatthememorycardcontainstherightleformatforthescreen/

DVR to store recordings on the memory card.

Proceed as follows:

• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe

main menu is displayed.

• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"SystemSetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.

• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"Format"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.

• Use the " " or the " " button to switch between "YES" (format memory card) and "NO" (cancel).

• Conrmtheselectionbypushingthe" "buttonbriey.

When formatting the memory card, all data saved on it are lost.

• If you chose "YES", formatting will start. A bar will display progress.

• After the end of formatting (or if you have chosen "NO" for cancelling), the screen/DVR will switch back to the prior

menu.

• ToswitchonemenulevelbackortoleavetheOSDmenu,brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRor

the "MENU" button on the IR remote control (you may need to push it several times).
