g) Function "Language"
Here, you can set the language for the OSD menu and all screen messages.
Proceed as follows:
• Brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRorthe"MENU"buttonontheIRremotecontrol.Thenthe
main menu is displayed.
• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"SystemSetting"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"Language"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " " button to select one of the various languages.
• Conrmthesettingbypushingthe" "buttonbriey.
• The screen/DVR then switches back to the previous menu.
• ToswitchonemenulevelbackortoleavetheOSDmenu,brieypushthe"Menu"button(5)onthescreen/DVRor
the "MENU" button on the IR remote control (you may need to push it several times).
14. Submenu "System info"
a) Function "SD card info"
You can have information on the inserted memory card displayed here (total size, occupied and free memory).
Proceed as follows:

• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthesubmenu"SystemInfo"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• Use the " " or the " "buttontoselectthefunction"SDCardInfo"andthenbrieypushthe" " button.
• The display now shows information on the inserted memory card:
"Total Size": Total size of the memory card
"Usage Size": Used memory (in percent)
"Remain Size": Available memory (in percent)
There are two different options to calculate "MBytes" or "GBytes".
a) Originally, 1 kByte are precisely 1024 Bytes (binary = 2^10). 1 MByte therefore means 1024*1024 =
1048576 bytes (binary =2 ^20), etc.
b) The manufacturers of hard discs, USB-sticks or memory cards now use 1 kByte = 1000 bytes for
simplicity, just as 1 kilometre is precisely 1000 metres. 1 MByte therefore are "only" 1 million bytes =
1000000 bytes.
The screen/DVR, however, uses the precise value (1 kByte = 1024 bytes). An SDHC-memory card with
4 GByte therefore will be displayed as having 3814 MByte (instead of 4000 MByte).
