avoid distortions or mismatches that could cause damage to the microphone or the
connected audio device. Pay attention to the connection values in the "Technical
data".
Never direct the microphone at the sound outlet of loudspeakers, as this can result in
feedback which may damage the loudspeakers and the connected amplier.
a) Securing the microphone
1. Place the earset microphone over your head and secure it with the ear hooks. Adjust the
microphone to the desired speaking position. Ensure that the product sits in a secure position.
2. You can place the microphone on the left or right side of your head as required.
3. In order to move the microphone from one side of your head to the other, remove the
microphone by pulling it out from the eyelet on the ear hook.
4. Then insert the microphone in the correct orientation into the eyelet on the other side. Ensure
that it clicks into place properly.
5. If you do not want to use the ear hook, remove the microphone from the eyelet on the ear hook
and insert it into the clip provided. You can then attach the microphone to your clothing, such
as a tie or collar.
6. You can feed the microphone cable through clothing or holes in accessories. In order to do
so, remove the cable from the microphone that has already been installed. Ensure that both
arrows form a line when reconnecting the microphone and the cable connector.
Be careful when connecting that you do not bend or break the contacts on the
connector.
b) Using the microphone
1. Turn o the audio device to which the microphone will be connected. Turn the sensitivity of
your audio device to zero using the corresponding input level control (refer to the operating
instructions of the audio device you are using).
2. Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug on the microphone cable into the corresponding microphone
connection on your audio device.

4. Test the microphone by speaking a few words (e.g. counting whole numbers) whilst slowly
moving the input level control on the audio device upwards until the desired output volume

prevents such sounds from being recorded.
