15. Troubleshooting
By purchasing this CD player, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and operationally
reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. The following contains descriptions for the removal of possible
interference.
Always observe the safety information!
No function blank after the power switch (1) was switched on.
The mains cable is not plugged into the socket or the mains socket (36) of the drive unit correctly.
The LC display (8) does not light up or no characters are displayed after the mains switch (1) was switched on.
The multi-pin control cable is no longer plugged into the REMOTE CONTROL sockets (37) correctly. Plug in the
cable correctly. Switch the device off and on again.
The CD is not played.
CD has not been put into the tray properly.
The CD is dirty.
The inserted CD is not an audio/MP3 CD, CD-R or a CD-RW.
Switch to another CD manufacturer if your CD-R/CD-RW is not recognised or played back.
The CD skips during playback.
The CD is dirty.
The CD is scratched.
The CD has a pressing defect.
The device is subject to vibration when playing.
Use a lower burn speed when writing your audio CD.
Change CD manufacturer should problems occur on playback of your CD-R/CD-RW.
The MP3 les are not played back
Do not create any mixed data carriers with MP3 les and other audio les.
Use a lower burn speed when writing your MP3-CD.
Burn your MP3-CD with the universal le standard ISO 9660.
No sound audible.
A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
The wrong input was selected on the amplier/mixer.
The volume control of the amplier/mixer or the power amplier is turned to “MINIMUM”.
One channel does not work.
A cinch cable was disconnected from the audio output of the CD player or the amplier/mixer input.
The balance control was set wrongly on the amplier/mixer.
The RCA connection cable is defective.
